Fused Art Glass by Bev O'Brien |

|
Bev O’Brien began working in stained glass creating
windows and hangings. Her fascination of glass led to a taster in
fused glass art and after further training in the technical aspects of warm
glass with Bristol based Mike Rowe at IGF, she invested in a kiln and hasn’t looked back since.
Bev
lives and works from her home studio in Wells, Somerset. The panels,
coasters and bowls often reflect sea and water scenes for which she has
a particular passion.
Each piece of glass is handmade and individually designed so no two pieces
are ever quite the same. Layers of glass are kiln fused for sometimes
over 24 hours, allowing the glass to anneal slowly ensuring safety and
longevity. We have examples of glass jewellery, glass hangings, garden ornaments and glass bowls available to view in the gallery or to buy online.
