Margaret Johnson's work explores the use of texture and rich colour with the translucency of glass. Her recent pieces develop the idea of decorating glass with strawsilk fibre in various colours and gold leaf or other precious metals, all sealed to the underside with resin. It is an original work of art that should be wiped clean with a lightly moistened cloth only. It should not be immersed in water nor put in the dishwasher.
