Blown Glass Commissions by Glass Artist David Flower
David Flower produces one off pieces of blown glass art to commission.
He says: ‘The desire to make, create, is one of the few base instincts we have left to utilize, it would therefore seem rather ignorant not to take advantage of that fact. I like playing God; it reminds me that I’m human.’

Blown Glass by David Flower
As an experienced maker David is in demand to make the work of many
other glass designers. He worked closely with the celebrated Peter
Layton for many years, symbiotically designing and making for the great
man. Now, as ever, David finds that making the work of other artists
represents his greatest challenge and Fran Staniland, Katherine
Wightman and Gary Webb continue to stretch the master’s abilities.
